Ive ignored my blog for over a year?
Call it Obama fatigue. Ranting about the state of the nation as our fearless leader squeegees it down the public jon, was just tedious, but now....
I SAY, But Now!
We are about 6 months out from election day. What may be our last chance to get off this freeway to socialism and tyranny, not to mention incompetence and insanity. I feel its my duty to get back in the game.
Today, i realized Blogger had become property of Google (Yay?) and i wanted to stick my toe in before jumping head first into the pool.
So....get your cameras ready....the show is about to begin....again.

Breaking......a break....
Sometimes all the corruption and incompetence in Washington is just too much for the soul. I have taken a needed break and will return after the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
I will spend the weekend remembering those brave Americans who gave their lives for my freedom to opine incessantly.
Thank you warriors from all branches of our military, your service is beyond appreciated.
Have a good start to the summer.

Manic Monday
Happy Monday....thats my fun day.....i dont have to run day....
Anyway, lets start the week with some news that puts another shiv in the credibility of the main stream press. If you listen to the narrative they have been selling for the last year, you would think the Tea Party is a group of right wing extremists who are racist, bigoted, homophobes clinging to their guns and religion.
Turns out....like much of what the media reports these days....its just not true. According to a survey 4 in 10 Tea Partiers are Democrats or Independents. Almost half of the group consists of people who dont consider themselves Republicans.
I couldnt believe it either. Ive been beaten about the head and neck by the media for so long, i guess i was starting to believe their bias a little myself.
The truth always seems to back up our side, doesnt it?
Maybe thats why the Tea Party now beats Obama in an election. Thats right, anybody from the Tea Party is more popular than Obama.....bet you never would have guessed that.

Have a safe weekend
Happy Good Friday!
Its that time of the week when i trade in my laptop for a guitar and a beer. Things seem to slow down around here on weekends due to said guitar and beer, but ill try not to disappear....
Hunt down them eggs, eat some jellybeans (i LOVE jellybeans and they always bust out special awesome ones around Easter) and chocolate rabbits, and remember why we celebrate this holiday.....no, its not just for the candy.
Enjoy you weekend and come out and see me if you are roaming state college.

You snooze you lose
I slept a bit late today and missed all kinds of goodies....
The Democrats are seem quite happy being the party of lies and corruption... now they are also the party that gives Viagra to pedophiles.
Speaking of rejecting all thats good, here are a list of amendments, many of which are just common sense or helpful to the middle class, that the Democrats have rejected. This one alone is a "SERIOUSLY!?!"
All the anger and violence is on the left....need a list?
Speaking of....what some symbolism. The Democrats went looking with cameras hoping to goad someone into exchanging words with them but still had to lie about being called names, meanwhile Eric Cantor had his office shot at. He isnt the only Republican who is actually dealing with the nuts on the left. There are so many Democrat lies its hard to keep track of....
I imagine we will see many, many more stories like these....
Great Britain is lost. The only keeping them from all giving up and dying is soccer.
Democrat hypocrisy is so blatant is almost funny.....almost.
A story about how, strippers are losing their right to a living in Massachusetts was interesting. I think protecting the rights of unpopular minorities (smokers, strippers, fish manicurists) is absolutely vital if you want the freedoms you care about protected in the future.
This gives me hope for the future. As long as African Americans are voting for Democrats by 90% to 10% they will be taken for granted by liberals. Its time to bring them home to the party of Lincoln and give them a true voice in America's future.
Finally, on that point, this clip makes me smile. Kevin Jackson should be America's future, not Barack Obama.

Hump Day
Happy Wednesday All--
USA lost to Japan in a curling barn burner 9-7 in which the final stone could have tied or won it for the US but instead left the Japanese stone literally millimeters closer. It was a giant choke....for those who care.
Its a suck bomb of poo that 90% of the shows i watch are on hiatus while the Olympics are on....its curling or nothing for a couple of weeks. Guess ill get through that stack of Us Weekly and People ive been neglecting.
Most of the Olympics coverage is boring and only worth a "check in" once in a while. Why does every other channel cede their audience by not airing their best series?
Im off to dig through the news....

Testing one....two....
2010 is here and as i dont watch the winter olympics i was about to post a comment to my Facebook page that some would find infuriating when i realized that Facebook isnt really the place for my ginourmous intellectual bunker busting life lessons.
I decided i needed somewhere else, an oasis if you will, to opine without restraint. Most people dont want to deal with the argument i started over NAFTA if they are just logging in to play Farmville, so im planting my flag here in generic blogger world. That way Facebook can stay upbeat, funny fun fun, and rooted in mundane status updates. I cant promise it will always be that way here.....but i can promise an informed perspective that has a 18% chance of making you laugh. a 14% chance of making you cry, and a 36% chance of making you scream at your computer.
Who knows what this site will become but i can promise that coming here will give you a front row, 50 yard line seat as.....Alec saves the world.
