Mitt Romney is winning.....

I havent wanted to jinx things in the last week, but i feel ok saying it today.  We have had  enough polling showing Romney gaining/passing/catching/ and solidifying leads to know the race is going in the right direction as of ...Friday October 19th.

If the election was today, i think we win in a squeaker, but i dont like squeakers against the Democrat party. We have to win by a fraud proof margin and we arent there yet.  Keep talking to friends and neighbors, we have to get out every single voter possible.

Obama could easily still win this election, folks.  We cannot take our foot off the accelerator until Wednesday November 7th.

We have the arguments, the facts, and momentum on our side, but anything can happen in 18 days.  18 days ago, Obama looked like he was coasting to victory, so keep spreading the word....

So the Obama media is going giddy today with an unexpected jobs report that has the unemployment rate down to 7.8%.

Would you like the wonky economist explanation for why the drop, not only make no sense, but how the numbers dont add up?  I didnt think so, but ill link it again just in case....Some other stories-

A number of pundits predicted months ago that the unemployment rate would somehow get below 8% before the election.  I put nothing past this corrupt administration who runs the country like it ran Chicago.

It encourages others to break the law when it helps them, and then offers your tax dollars to help pay off the victims.  Oh, yeah, thats a thing and its happening at Lockheed Martin.

Heritage notes Obama's hypocrisy on this exact law.

Its the low information voters (ie doofae) that Obama must count on, which is sad.  If he wins it will be because he got more ignorant fools to vote than we got informed people, something this President will be proud of, right?.  All we can do is educate as many of our friends and neighbors as possible.

Keepin' the Mo'

Now that the debate score is officially in the books as straight up KO for Mitt Romney, the internet is having its fun.  I cant say im not enjoying it.

I know its just one debate, i know the election is far from over, but you know what, im going to enjoy this moment of campaign zen as long as possible.

It helps that Obama is out there today saying dumber stuff than last night....seriously, you can tell he is FUMING under that ugly smirk.  Today's Obama big campaign line...."who was that guy last night...it sure wasnt Mitt Romney...HAR HAR HAR"  Yep, genius.

You know why Obama spends so much time attacking Mitt Romney's character, because he has NOTHING else.  Every policy argument he has made is a lie and I can prove it, and when i say "I" i mean we and when i say "we", i mean the smart people at Investor's Business Daily.

Meanwhile, Democratic policies are causing gas shortages in California, those are the same policies Obama wants to bring to the rest of the country, by the way.

Obama destroying middle and lower classes

One word-- ENERGY

If i could scoop out one set of policies this disaster of a President has enacted and replace them with my own, it would be in the field of energy.

BILLIONS wasted in green energy scams and failed companies, and subsidized pet projects.

Yet....those of us without a hand in the federal treasury are stuck paying staggering prices for gasoline, home heating oil, and electricity.

WHY?  Because thats how Obama wants it.  He thinks we should have to pay prices closer to the failing economies in Europe.........cause its more "fair" and because he is just dumb enough to believe the environmentalists wackos fake science. 

In the 2008 campaign he said, and i quote--

"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times,"

He claimed it was about leadership yet he chooses to keep his thermostat hang around 80 in the White House.

The point is, energy prices are one of the biggest factors in middle and lower classes improving their situation and Obama has done everything in his power to raise prices.

His war on coal alone is zapping the supply of electricity available in America leading to necessarily higher prices.

So dont give me this crap that Obama cares about the poor and middle class.  In one of the only ways the President can directly effect the economy, Obama has chosen his radical leftist ideology over making life better for average Americans.

This alone proves Obama cares nothing about you, no matter your class.  Its all bunk.  

Obama sells the "i care", snake oil.  His first term proves that.  Imagine what he will do  once he doesnt have an election to worry about.

Dont forget about higher taxes, too....they're coming....for everyone....

Thats not even counting what Obamacare will do to you on January 1st if its not repealed.

I cant afford 4 more years of Barrack Obama, can you?

PS Dont forget about the extra 10 grand you owe on the national debt this year.

You think the economy is bad now?  Just wait, if Obama is reelected, we will be hoping to get back to our current doldrums after another recession takes us to new lows.

Obama has ZERO clue how the economy actually works thanks to his brain washing at the hands of ideologue left wing radicals who raised and educated him.  He thinks poverty is "fair" as long as everyone suffers together.  Its the mind set that has destroyed once great nations like Great Britain, Greece, and well....Europe.

Its not about a safety net for Obama, its about equal out comes no matter your personal effort or merit.

Is that the society you want?  We are one election from it.

Remember, the Obama administration said recovery was upon us....

You know how i know the President thinks this is the new normal......Obama has done exactly what to change the economic trajectory of the nation?

He formed a "Jobs Council" for PR and then ignored it....remember?

Its all about making you think he cares, not really caring.  If he gets your vote after being a complete failure, it reinforces his mentality of the "no merit" society.  He is entitled to be President, you see, you tiny citizens must just accept that.

Performance is irrelevant in an Obama world.

Equal poverty for peons, luxury and immunity for the elite......yummy socialism....

NBC pulls out the pom poms

NBC has completely dropped the facade of objectivity.  They are now ignoring news that hurts Obama and spewing White House talking points.

ABC is a sliver better but its the difference between a the smell of a  public restroom and a monkey's armpit.  Not much.  You really have to do your homework or you could walk around believing the Earth is flat.

Economic growth from the second quarter was revised down from a pathetic 1.7% to a  downright grim 1.3%.  Thats the edge of recession and unacceptable. Its been 3 years of supposed Obama "recovery".  He spent 6 TRILLION dollars.  Where is it?

Incompetent and irresponsible.

Obama's priorities

The more i read about the President's intense efforts to avoid doing any work while the world's leaders were in New York, the more i fume.  Oh, he stopped by and gave a speech (what else does he do?) that included some frightening quotes, but offered nothing of character, only moral equivalence and the verbose emptiness that all Obama speeches boil down to at this point.

Its a pattern of behavior with this man.  Obama is worried about being a celebrity,hanging with Hollywood actors, and golfing, than leading the world or fixing this government.  He goes out and gives his little speeches but then goes right back to watching Sportscenter instead of attending his security briefings.  Meanwhile our foreign policy is in ruins and our Ambassadors are dying.

When the Middle East starts to tear itself apart, what does Obama say......



The world is begging for leadership and our President is fundraising.  The economy is on the edge of a cliff and Obama does nothing but make excuses.....and go to fundraisers.

You know what Mitt Romney is doing today?  He is having a meeting about creating jobs with business people and Mike Rowe.  When was the last time Obama met with his so called "Job Council"....oh, i know, over 6 months ago.  It was a publicity stunt because thats what Obama cares about, publicity.

Im tired of feeling afraid for the future of this country.

Its time for real change.

Obama screw of the week

"More regulations!" is the battle cry of Democrats and this President.  They think they are going to make your life free from every possible problem, but all they do is cause things to get worse.

Today's screw....the era of free checking is over.  You will soon be paying just to park your money in a bank.  Why?  Because of the banking regulations put in place by Washington know-it-alls.

DC bureaucrats take a little issue, add regulations to it, make it a giant issue, add more regulations, then the banks fail, and what do they do.....pass even more regulations.  The average America is the one who gets the worst of it, in the end.  Every time the government sticks it to banks or any corporation, they turn around and pass the pain down to us.....and then politicians point fingers at the corporations...

You can apply this government intrusion and unintended consequence formula to the hike in tuition prices, groceries, and the big one....health insurance.  You health insurance will be traveling out of the atmosphere unless we rid the world of Obamacare before this time next year.

You probably didnt see this on the news.  Evil little details of this President's policies, like this one, are shoved into the closet right now.  Obama figures if he can hide them until the election, it doesnt matter how bad it gets because he cant run for reelection again.  Its about him, as usual.

If Barack Obama wins this election, the economy will fall apart and this will seem like the good ole' days.

Trust me, i know these people.

Remember i was the one who told you they were lying about the embassy attacks on day one....and i was proven right.

Im just sick of having a government that is more worried about saving face than its citizens.

Complete and utter failure. 

Canada's dollar passed the US dollar, in value, under Obama.....which is embarrassing enough, but now they have passed us in economic freedom.

It seems like every day we get more bad news like this....

Weekend happy talk

Well, the Obama economy is still flopping around like a dying fish. The false narrative that things are getting better had a big ole' spork stuck in it today with a another dismal jobs report. The unemployment rate went down to 8.1% because they stopped counting another 4oo,ooo peeps.

The unemployment rate number is now so tricked out with special government math and Labor Department caveats, it only tells half the story.

If they were counting the same amount of people as last month, the rate would have ticked up to 8.4%.

If the were counting the same amount of people as they were when Obama took office the rate would be 11.2%.

So, even though America's population has grown by millions over the last 4 years, they are counting less people in the work force for no other reason than they have supposedly given up looking for work.

That makes zero sense to me.

Its ugly out there, and even Yahoo cant sugar coat it.

Enough of that. Lets shove all that crap into the closet and slam the door at least until Sunday. Its weekend time and after a long week of politics, im ready for rock and/or roll.

I get to pick up the guitar again tonight and forget about the real world for a minute.

Are "D"'s nuts?

Politics has become such a spectacle that the actual consequences of actions by politicians is often buried under a garbage pile of slogans, talking points, media spin, and most unfortunately, a giant letter in parentheses.

Many Americans ignore politics believing it is just a phony game but put their whole hearted faith in the stupid letter that signifies to which party the candidate belongs.

George Washington warned about the evils of political parties. They become the lazy persons' vehicle for justification of a vote cast in complete ignorance. They are the politicians best friend, though, allowing blind loyalty.

Results have become much less important than they need to be, and failure has become acceptable due to successful demonizing of each party by the other....

In 2012, the Presidential election would be over already if political parties did not exist. There are very few intelligent people who could justify another vote for Barack Obama on results or merit. He is a failure by any measure, yet he is winning in some polls and is considered the favorite by conventional wisdom. That is seriously sad.

Do you want to know what happens when party affiliation becomes the factor on which most votes are cast?

The big question(s) in 2012. Do voters want to make the U.S. into California and will Democrats continue to blindly follow a letter instead of a leader?


I totally got lost writing this blog entry. I just wanted to intro another great video by my mentor, Bill Whittle, but got sidetracked by a thought about political parties. For the record, I despise them as an idea, and Republicans are guilty of being zombies for the party at times but never to this degree. George H W Bush was 100 times the President, Obama has been, and we threw him out for one lie. Obama has told 1000 yet the every day Democrat voter is still solidly enough behind him to make this election close.....that is a travesty.

That is my point, i think.

Some learnin's

Some tangible graphic evidence that the government does nothing but hurt the economy when it tries to "fix" it by spending money. Taking your money and spending it instead of letting you spend it is really quite stupid. First, half the money is wasted and/or lost through corruption, second, its kind of insulting being told you are too stupid to spread the cheddar yourself. What? It takes a Harvard degree to shop at the mall.

When the government spends billions of dollars to "help" some lobbied for sector of business, it make stave off the pain for a short while, but it will always be worse in the end. Kind of like a cavity, you can cover the pain with sweet pills for a bit, but really all you are doing is letting that nubber rot until it cant be saved.. A little pain early on, or you end up with an economy like ours and a mouth like the children of Deliverance.

Money grows the economy when it is earned and spent by schmoes like us. Anytime the government gets involved bad things happen....sometimes in the short term, always in the long term.

Alright...i know...i know....boring. What is all this economy stuff...its Friday, yo. I know its not fun reading but so important to the future prosperity of our nation...and more importantly to you....(ie XBoxes, PS3s, boomin' systems, sweet rims, FUBU shirts, iphones, ipads, ipods, icoolstuff galore).

The quicker we get rid of the people who think "cash for clunkers" smelled like all kinds of genius, (Democrats, liberals, the Obama administration), the quicker we will all have more money.

Isnt that all the reason you need to vote in November?

How well do Keynesian economic policies actually work to stimulate the economy? That question has been debated for decades, and the results have been mixed enough to support either side of the debate, thanks to the complex workings of macroeconomics. Most people believed that Keynesianism had died a well-deserved death during the 1970s, when it obviously failed, but made a comeback in the desperate straits of 2008-10.

However, this time one Keynesian policy put into place offered a way to study the results without other complicating factors. The Obama administration and the Democratic leadership in Congress offered the Cash for Clunkers program as a Keynesian stimulus for auto sales, arguing that they could stimulate the industry as a whole through the expense of several billion dollars in public funds. Did it work? Coyote Blog parsed the retail sales data from the Census Bureau and discovered that it had no impact in the overall growth rate of sales after a collapse in 2008:

Seems that a bit of time off has done nothing to improve the state of....well, anything. As the summer heat creeps in, our "cool" President continues to handle the nation's mounting problems with that precious, deer in the headlights, stare. I truly think Obama figured if Bush could do the job, he could do it in his sleep. Typical mix of extreme arrogance and ignorant condescension from our first unicorn riding, rainbow farting, President, i suppose. It will not get better until control of the country is back in the hands of the competent.


Paul McCartney needs to just shut up and sing, by the way. He is a legend and i would rather remember him that way. It seems like he is trying to spend his last years on Earth solidifying ass hat status, though. Stay out of politics bud, it makes you look more clueless than Yoko Ono holding a fishing pole.

One last Obama gem....

The guy who has done nothing but power drill the economic hole we are in 5 times deeper has the nerve to point fingers at the powerless GOP again today. His party runs Congress, he ignores Republicans when they do offer ideas, and he has the nerve blame the other guy. In the really real world, Obama would probably get fired for being an incompetent, arrogant, loudmouth, who doesnt do his job, but blames the guy in the next cubicle when he is called out for it. All while breaking the biggest promise he made to get the job.....you know, "...no one making under $250,000 will have their taxes raised...".

At the end of Obama's 4 years, America will have no choice but to admit liberalism is a failure and reject it forever, or become the next victim of socialism and accept poverty and government oppression as their inevitable future. There is no way to do both anymore. The facts are smackin' you around like your mom's drunk unemployed boyfriend, time to run away from the beatings or accept being abused for the foreseeable future.

A vested interested

Half the reason this country is up shizzle creek without a Yamaha In-Line 4 Stroke 150 hp Outboard Motor is because almost 50% of citizens pay no federal income tax. To them, anything that comes from the government is "free". So, for all intents and purposes, these people can vote themselves more money or services without it affecting their bottom line. Not Good.

There are two ways to stop politicians from using entitlements to buy votes and make those who receive entitlements actually appreciate them.

1st--- Every single person who earns a dollar in a given year pays something to the federal government. If you make 10 grand maybe you would only pay 5% or 500 bucks, but it would remind you that if you support "government" health care, your taxes will double or triple, in other words there is a price to pay for more government.

A true "fair share" would be everyone paying something.

2nd--- Once you are in a welfare program for a certain length of time, your ability to vote would be suspended until you are no longer receiving money from the government. That may seem unfair but how is it fair that people who pay no taxes get to vote to take more of my money. Its, "two wolves and a sheep voting on whats for dinner". It would motivate people to take care of themselves and help others in order to more actively effect the direction of the country in the way our founders wanted, not by being bought off as a entitlement group, and voting for whoever promises you the most "free" stuff.

Something must be done or as the percentage of people paying no taxes grows over 50%, the people in the cart will be too heavy for the people pushing the cart to push it any longer and BLAM.....you are living in Cuba or the Soviet Union.

Hey, they said i was wrong about Obama being a radical socialist too.

Prove me wrong.

How unexpected?

When something happens every month can it be unexpected? Not sure if its the media in complete denial of the Obama administration's utter incompetence or if its some weak noodle armmed attempt to shape opinion but its become another joke on the media at this point.

If you understand economics in the least nothing that is happening is unexpected.

I see that the first rumblings of a VAT tax are oozing out of this slimy administration today. These corrupt liberal politicians just spent us into oblivion causing a "financial crisis" and now want us to believe the only way out of the mess they made is to give them ANOTHER 20%-25% of your money in sales tax on top of the giant increase of income taxes coming. Liberals will never have enough of your money....face it.

Sickening.

Oh, and im sure they will propose a VAT at a rational 5%-10% but i GUARANTEE inside of 5 years it will double or triple until they have milked every last penny out of you.

The nerve of these people destroying our economy and running up an historic debt then having the gall to say the only answer is a giant new tax.

How do Democrats have an ounce of credibility left?

If you live in New York you will be giving 80% of your income to the government.

Though he acknowledged that both were still unpopular ideas, he said getting entitlement costs and the U.S. budget deficit under control may require such moves. ‘If at the end of the day we need to raise taxes, we should raise taxes,’ he said.”

I dont remember them spinning unemployment data quite this way back when George W Bush was President....here's what they said when it hit a whopping 5%

Yet after a year and a half of Obama policies, the unemployment rate is still almost 10% BUT its reported much differently.


You now have to research the news to make sure they are telling you the truth.

Just unbelievable.
