Congrats to Charles Djou

Charles Djou has won a special election in dark blue Hawaii for a seat in the House of Representatives. I like to think it was my $25 that put him over the top but whatever, he gets most of the credit.

Sure, he only got 39% of the vote and only won because the other two candidates split the Democratic vote and sure he has to run again in 6 months but a win is a win and we will take any we can get these days.

So, congrats to Republican Rep. Charles Djou of Hawaii, here to hoping he sticks around for a while.

What kind of shop are they running over at the White House? Im pretty sure its illegal to blatantly offer political posts for favors....then again the press wont call Obama out on anything so why follow the rules right?

Joe Sestak is running for Senate in Pennsylvania and is a left wing ideologue. He would be an awful Senator. Trust me, if he didnt think he was going to win, he would have taken the bribe. Pat Toomey would represent Pennsylvanians with class and purpose. We need men like him in government right now to stop Obama from digging a hole we cant climb out of, even once we are rid of him.

Colonel Allen West should be President.....bottom line. America needs leadership of this caliber. This guy speaks the hard truths with an understanding our current White House occupant cannot fake with teleprompters. I hope he wins his election for the
House of Representatives in Florida and eventually seeks national office.

You want real intelligence and real integrity leading our country into the depths of the 21st century, keep your good eye on this man.

Charlie Crist is a first class hypocrite and a twenty-third class human being. Just about every single thing he has said in the primary so far had been contradicted by....um...Charlie Crist.

He couldnt win the nomination so he quit, took his ball, and went home. Worse than that, he has now come back and is helping his former opponent to win....sour grapes Charlie?

Self interest over service is the one of biggest problem exhibited by politicians along with over bloated egos. Crist has become the poster boy for both.

If you know someone in Florida, make sure they stay away from Crist. Mark Rubio is a young conservative with a bright future whose charisma and straight forward demeanor makes guys like Charlie Crist look like the morally bankrupt political hacks they are.

Rubio is the future of a successful Republican party. Crist is the reason people hate politicians.

If Charlie Crist announces an independent bid for the US Senate today as widely expected, can anyone doubt that this will be one of the most effective political ads of the year? Marco Rubio speaks volumes by letting Crist do all the talking:

We’ve played this before, as have many bloggers and media outlets, but blanketing Florida airwaves with this ad (or a shorter version of it) will force Crist to ask a very uncomfortable question — what changed since March 28th? Neither he nor Rubio have made any policy changes during that period of time. The national GOP hasn’t changed its position regarding the race; the NRSC still has its endorsement of Crist in place. That actually makes Crist the establishment Republican candidate, at least until 5 pm ET today.

The only answer that will make sense to Florida voters is that Crist can’t get elected as a Republican in 2010.

It’s pure self-interest, arguably accompanied by an impulse for self-destruction.

Hope in Hawaii

Hawaii is a Democratic strong hold for some reason. I guess ill just never understand how such large groups of people could be so uninformed as to support the Nancy Pelosis of the world. Anyway, a Republican has a chance to win a House seat in Hawaii and he needs your support to get 'er done.

Charles Djou is conducting a "money wave" today. If you are the type, like myself, who donate to candidates periodically, this is the time to do it.

Its winning seats like this that will give control of Congress back to the sane.

Come on, a couple bucks wont kill you....

Lt. Col. Allen West Tax Day Tea Party speech
