I just want to make sure that you have read and listened to the Charles Woods story and interview.

 This is a big deal and the media will ignore it so we have to spread the word.

The story of Charles Woods seems to be blowing up all the sudden....good.  Every American should know about this telling event.  

It seems to have originally come from an interview on the Lars Larson show.  The audio in there if you want to hear it.

Im sure the mainstream media will try and bury this story but we have been going over and around them all campaign season anyway.

Forward it to every voter you know.

Our national disgrace....first hand

When America loses one of its brave soldiers, we sometimes forget that after the moment of silence, or the parade, or the 21 gun salute, there are families that must get up every day and feel the tragedy of that loss again, and again.  Mothers and Fathers who must go on having out lived their child, Wives and Husbands who must continue their life without their best friend and partner, Sons and Daughters who will grow up with half their family.

If i was President, any time i spent with those who have lost someone in the defense of our country, would be treated as sacred.  My full respect and attention is the least I could offer someone who has given so much to the cause of freedom.  I would feel honored to know these Americans and they would know the appreciation of a grateful nation in every way i could possibly express it.

Why the focus on fallen heroes today?

Well, it seems another glaring flaw in Barack Obama and his administration is their treatment of these special families.

Forget the bad economy, or the questionable foreign policy, do you want a President who treats the Father of a lost Navy Seal like he doesnt care?  Add to it, the disrespect shown by his highest level representatives, and it sickens me exponentially more than any of his petty campaign lies.

The man i am speaking about is named Charles Woods.  His son Tyrone was killed while serving during the  terrorist attack in Libya.

This is his story.  I hope you read it because it says so much more about the current occupant of the White House than any campaign season, blogger rant, ever could.

America deserves better.

The lies, the cover up, the complete disrespect for the American people....yes i am talking about the terrorist attacks in Libya, but i could just as easily be talking about the entire 4 years of the Obama administration.

The administration now admits the death of our Ambassador in Libya was the result of a planned terrorist attack.  Al Qaeda picked 9/11 to strike at the US for all the obvious reasons, yet the White House was so ill prepared that we lost our first diplomat to foreign attack in over 30 years.  We also lost heroic Marines who ran INTO the fire fight to attempt to save Ambassador Stevens.

Obama and his surrogates LIED....straight to you face for weeks.

It turns out that, not only was the security (or lack there of) in Benghazi insufficient to operating standards, but after multiple warnings of imminent violence, requests for more security and measures to defend against an attack were IGNORED.

The Obama administration has been incompetent, and worse than that, 100% dishonest about the situation throughout the Middle East.

The American media has been awfully silent on the Obama administration's failures in Libya.  Did you know that the Obama state department was arming people we knew were linked Al Qaeda.....probably the same people who killed Ambassador Chris Stevens.  I had to scour foreign press to learn the truth about the disastrous policies this White House has implemented in Libya.

Obama still hasnt said squat about this debacle. His only comment was to criticize Mitt Romney for not ignoring the event entirely, like him.  Romney's comments were Presidential by comparison, and looking back, right on the nose. What is Obama's explaination for this catastrophe?  Oh, thats right, he is too busy fundraising and campaigning to fit in a press conference.

His argument for being reelected is what, again?  

The news catches up with me....

I nailed the Obama administration to their lies on the Libya embassy attack on day....what, like 2.  It was obvious they were skirting responsibility for being incompetent and hiding behind the press as they calmly muttered..."these are not the droids youre looking for.....you can go about your business.....move along...."

Well, it looks like someone got around to reading my blog because the story was finally given a wee bit of attention.

This is a scandal that should disqualify Obama from reelection.

If given 1/10 the attention it deserves, it would show this administration's pattern of dishonesty and contempt for the American people. Whether or not the story gets legs may be up to us. If we give the media no choice by spreading the truth ourselves, they will eventually join the party if only to save face.

NBC pulls out the pom poms

NBC has completely dropped the facade of objectivity.  They are now ignoring news that hurts Obama and spewing White House talking points.

ABC is a sliver better but its the difference between a the smell of a  public restroom and a monkey's armpit.  Not much.  You really have to do your homework or you could walk around believing the Earth is flat.

Economic growth from the second quarter was revised down from a pathetic 1.7% to a  downright grim 1.3%.  Thats the edge of recession and unacceptable. Its been 3 years of supposed Obama "recovery".  He spent 6 TRILLION dollars.  Where is it?

Incompetent and irresponsible.

The Obama scandal being ignored

If George Bush was President, there would be a full media blitz assaulting the White House for answers on the lies, deception, and cover up, of the attack on our embassy in Libya.

The more information that leaks out, the more it looks like a full scale Watergate type cover up.  The mainstream press ignores the topic of Libya unless its blasting Mitt Romney for asking the questions they should be asking.

Dont quite understand whats going on because you dont have the time to do your job and the media's too?  Let me help you with that....

Obama screw of the week

"More regulations!" is the battle cry of Democrats and this President.  They think they are going to make your life free from every possible problem, but all they do is cause things to get worse.

Today's screw....the era of free checking is over.  You will soon be paying just to park your money in a bank.  Why?  Because of the banking regulations put in place by Washington know-it-alls.

DC bureaucrats take a little issue, add regulations to it, make it a giant issue, add more regulations, then the banks fail, and what do they do.....pass even more regulations.  The average America is the one who gets the worst of it, in the end.  Every time the government sticks it to banks or any corporation, they turn around and pass the pain down to us.....and then politicians point fingers at the corporations...

You can apply this government intrusion and unintended consequence formula to the hike in tuition prices, groceries, and the big one....health insurance.  You health insurance will be traveling out of the atmosphere unless we rid the world of Obamacare before this time next year.

You probably didnt see this on the news.  Evil little details of this President's policies, like this one, are shoved into the closet right now.  Obama figures if he can hide them until the election, it doesnt matter how bad it gets because he cant run for reelection again.  Its about him, as usual.

If Barack Obama wins this election, the economy will fall apart and this will seem like the good ole' days.

Trust me, i know these people.

Remember i was the one who told you they were lying about the embassy attacks on day one....and i was proven right.

Im just sick of having a government that is more worried about saving face than its citizens.

President Suckage's rough 24 hours

Man.....it was a rough rotation of the Earth for Obama.  I wonder how the media will spin it....

The President had a supposedly friendly audience asking questions at a Univision forum, but they made him look clueless, like a whiner, and forced him into multiple face saving lies.

Also on the menu....the pandering was offensive.  All of the sudden, with $4/gallon gas, 8+% unemployment for his entire term, and 6 TRILLION in new debt, Obama's biggest regret of his first 4 years was not passing immigration reform.  Of course, he never tried.  He had super majorities of both houses of Congress and the ability to pass anything he wanted (ie Obamacare) and he never once tried at immigration reform.  So its a lie and a stupid pandering one at that.

He looked woefully ill prepared to answer questions about the embassy attacks.  It was a master class of question avoidance.  It looked like a guy who didn't have the answer written out for him and had to think on the spot and when it was obvious he had no clue, he went into politician speak (lots of words, saying nothing).

I could spend a Homer length epic shredding his performance in this forum but i bore of it.  Quickly though, Obama admitted that his entire 2008 campaign was based on an phony slogan.  The man who was elected on "hope and change" actually said the words, "....you cant change Washington from the inside..."  In other words, he learned that the big boys play rough and don't just faint at his holy inspired words.  It was a whine fest anytime someone came within a country mile of asking him to take responsibility for his record.  I am completely confused by the 3 or 4 conflicting narratives Obama has used about being an "outsider".....or was that "insider"?

Anyway, last night Obama went on David Letterman.  He handled the only question of substance so badly that is has now become the story.  Its best explained with visual aides, so ill leave it to a professional.  A sneak preview though.....did you know that the crippling national debt is not a concern...in the short term.  Let me translate..."Im going to spend the bejeezus out of this place if i get reelected cause i cant run again and i kinda dont care".

The Washington Examiner has done an extremely thorough piece on the carefully hidden side of Barack Obama.  Its long but worth every second.  You need to know about the man no one vetted 4 years ago.  If, once you really know this President, his background, and his ideas, you still want to vote for him....fine, i think very few do, though.

Some "focus group" info has hit the President where it hurts.....that would be his ego (its by far his largest organ).  The words used to describe each party's ticket are enlightening.  I wonder why this isn't front page news....no i don't...

Finally, the Fast and Furious scandal has reared its ugly head again.  You remember that scandal, right?  The Obama Justice Dept got guns in the hands of drug gangs in order to see what damage they would do....or some half baked explanation not even the Democrats buy.  Well, the heads are starting to roll.  It didn't help that he was poked pretty darn hard about it at the Univision forum ( i almost forgot about that delicious moment) The President opened with his favorite duck and cover maneuver and then followed that up with a full Bush blamer....his score?  Well the Chinese judge gave him a 5, but what does that really mean....am i right?

Finally, finally, it looks like Obama is going to bow to our enemies and release the World Trade Center Bomber after the election.  It is absolutely despicable and undermines 30 years of foreign policy.  Just a hint at the amazing stuff Barack Obama will do after he is no longer worried about getting votes.

My brain hurts....time to soak it in some Borderlands 2....

In case you care, the Obama administration is now censoring youtube to satisfy the barbaric demands of extremists nutjobs in the middle east.

Any one who has watched the region over the past 10 years know that stupid film trailer has nothing to do with their mass idiocy.

Free speech must be protected.

Weekend happy talk

Well, the Obama economy is still flopping around like a dying fish. The false narrative that things are getting better had a big ole' spork stuck in it today with a another dismal jobs report. The unemployment rate went down to 8.1% because they stopped counting another 4oo,ooo peeps.

The unemployment rate number is now so tricked out with special government math and Labor Department caveats, it only tells half the story.

If they were counting the same amount of people as last month, the rate would have ticked up to 8.4%.

If the were counting the same amount of people as they were when Obama took office the rate would be 11.2%.

So, even though America's population has grown by millions over the last 4 years, they are counting less people in the work force for no other reason than they have supposedly given up looking for work.

That makes zero sense to me.

Its ugly out there, and even Yahoo cant sugar coat it.

Enough of that. Lets shove all that crap into the closet and slam the door at least until Sunday. Its weekend time and after a long week of politics, im ready for rock and/or roll.

I get to pick up the guitar again tonight and forget about the real world for a minute.

Some learnin's

Some tangible graphic evidence that the government does nothing but hurt the economy when it tries to "fix" it by spending money. Taking your money and spending it instead of letting you spend it is really quite stupid. First, half the money is wasted and/or lost through corruption, second, its kind of insulting being told you are too stupid to spread the cheddar yourself. What? It takes a Harvard degree to shop at the mall.

When the government spends billions of dollars to "help" some lobbied for sector of business, it make stave off the pain for a short while, but it will always be worse in the end. Kind of like a cavity, you can cover the pain with sweet pills for a bit, but really all you are doing is letting that nubber rot until it cant be saved.. A little pain early on, or you end up with an economy like ours and a mouth like the children of Deliverance.

Money grows the economy when it is earned and spent by schmoes like us. Anytime the government gets involved bad things happen....sometimes in the short term, always in the long term.

Alright...i know...i know....boring. What is all this economy stuff...its Friday, yo. I know its not fun reading but so important to the future prosperity of our nation...and more importantly to you....(ie XBoxes, PS3s, boomin' systems, sweet rims, FUBU shirts, iphones, ipads, ipods, icoolstuff galore).

The quicker we get rid of the people who think "cash for clunkers" smelled like all kinds of genius, (Democrats, liberals, the Obama administration), the quicker we will all have more money.

Isnt that all the reason you need to vote in November?

How well do Keynesian economic policies actually work to stimulate the economy? Is the Attorney General stupid or just dishonest?

This guy, Eric Holder, is a disgrace and if he was a Republican he would have been forced from office by now. He always seems to say what an idiot might be thinking and seems to have a soft spot for terrorists.

Now he is speaking out against Arizona's immigration law while admitting he hasnt read it. I could go on to bash his irresponsible and ignorant behavior but it has already been done to perfection.

The "Obama's Katrina" narrative

The oil rig explosion and resulting spill has been in the news for over a week. It seemed to be a manageable accident with no cause for alarm, initially, but the clean up has become a debacle. Oil now washes upon the shores of gulf coast states while SWAT teams are dispatched by the federal government for....well actually.....what in the turds would they need SWAT teams for?

Anyway, the slow intervention of the Obama administration has become a growing narrative. Even the Obama worshiping NY Times has called the President to task for allowing the situation to snowball out of control.

Some are calling it Obama's Katrina moment. Comparing the reaction of this White House, or lack there of, to the actions taken by the Bush Administration after Hurricane Katrina.

Did Obama fiddle while the Gulf burned or is it just a right wing fantasy that Obama get tarnished by the same unforgiving press coverage that undermined Bush's second term? Of course there are loyalists who see the comparison as laughable., but what do i think, you ask?

I tend to agree with the Obama zombies that the President should not be blamed for any difficulties in the aftermath of the rig explosion but for much different reasons.

The federal government should not get involved with anything unless all other options have been used and failed. They are supposed to be a last resort for when a situation becomes unmanageable.....like now. Federal resources should not be dispatched at the first sign of trouble....anywhere....anytime. I dont blame Bush for things that went wrong after Katrina, and i dont blame Obama for not getting involved in this situation until it was clear the resources were needed.

I actually think its unfair to refer to Katrina in this instance. Trying to use the negative associations of a disaster for political gain seem like a cheap shot and desperate. With all the horrible decisions Obama has made and all the indefensible actions he has taken there is no need to invent a controversy in an attempt to impact his image.

Hopefully they will quickly get the situation in the Gulf under control and it will fade away as a story. There are much more important issues that require our attention. Congress is trying to push through as much radical left wing legislation as possible before their inevitable demise in November and we need to be shining the disinfectant of sunlight on as much as possible.

As for "drill, baby, drill"-- This awful accident should have absolutely no impact on our future drilling of oil. If we dont drill for our own oil some other, probably less environmentally conscious nation, will. Then turn around and sell it to us, sending one potential Exxon Valdez after another to our shores. Oil spills are a tragedy but inevitable while the world is relying on petroleum to fuel its engines. Our technology for cleaning up accidents gets more effective every year. Besides, oil leaks into the oceans naturally all the time....it is not something the Earth isnt designed to handle in some capacity. Its an unfortunate by product of prosperity....you can always live in a mud hut and ride your bike everywhere, clean your clothes in the river, and poop in the woods while hunting for your food.

I doubt even liberals are that interested in preventing oil spills.

The Obama administration is thin skinned, treats the press badly, and plays favorites for positive coverage....i just cant believe it.

The only news here is that the press is finally wondering out loud why this White House full of inexperienced nobodies are treating everyone like they are the royal family.

If you can’t spare time for all of it, at least read the section on “Getting mad.” Oh, and the part in the Gibbs section where Gibbsy sets up a big dinner with the press corps during a trip to Prague and then just flakes out. The nutshell:

Reporters say the White House is thin-skinned, controlling, eager to go over their heads and stingy with even basic information. All White Houses try to control the message. But this White House has pledged to be more open than its predecessors, and reporters feel it doesn’t live up to that pledge in several key areas:

— The ferocity of pushback is intense. A routine press query can draw a string of vitriolic e-mails. A negative story can draw a profane high-decibel phone call or worse. Some reporters feel like they’ve been frozen out after crossing the White House.

I dont even know what to say

On a day when the first post racial President released an ad based completely on race, we are hit with another gem from the Obama government. Obama's national security adviser decided that telling a joke that is based on the worst negative stereotypes of Jews would be a good way to begin his key note speech for the Washington Institute For Near East Policy.

What a disgrace.
