As i click off the coverage, its all over but the speeches. Barack Obama, the most incompetent, dishonest, piece of garbage ever to occupy the White House has been given 4 more years to inflict destruction on the American people.
He bought enough votes, the media hid enough truth, and the people have finally been made into the sheeple.
America will not recover in my life time. High taxes, high unemployment, high prices, inflation, war, energy prices that will destroy the middle class....you wanted it....you got it.
Im done ranting and raving. It means nothing.
Enjoy your new socialism, same as the old socialism. Poverty for all but the government overlords.

Election Eve
Well folks.....
What can i say that hasnt been said a dozen times. You know this is the election that will define America for the next generation.
Barack Obama is a complete and utter failure by any measure.
Unemployment is somehow higher than when he took office during a recession.
He created no net new jobs in 4 years
He added more to the national debt than any President in history (about 6 T- T -Trillion dollars), and he did it in one term.
He added to the wars being fought by our military when he got involved in Libya and Africa, all while cutting our defense budget to the bone.
Speaking of Libya, he lied about the terrorist attack and his disastrous choices that led to the first dead American Ambassador since Jimmy Carter, and 3 other American heroes.
He has offered to weaken American defenses to placate Russia, and has sold out our allies in Europe in the process.
He has lost 90 billion dollars in "green" energy boondoggles much of which went to his campaign contributors.
He paid off his Union buddies in the UAW while not fixing GM, just propping them up with tax payer dollars. The company is not saved and is now blowing through your hard earned dollars.
He ignored the American people and forced through the government take over of health care with Obamacare which has increased insurance rates and which calls for greatly increased taxes over the next few years if not repealed.
Just a reminder, Obamacare will destroy the economy for good. Its burdening regulations make it virtually impossible for small businesses to grow, meanwhile it busts the US budget, and destroys access to actual health care. Insurance means nothing when you cant get care. The government panel that is set up to deny care to those it deems "cost prohibitive" already exists, its called IPAB.
Obama's EPA has crippled the energy sector and caused gasoline prices to double. If reelected, his war on coal and unrestrained attack on fossil fuel production will cause energy prices to "necessarily skyrocket".
Obama's Fed chairman has printed money at a reckless pace. Without a change in the White House, our current monetary policy will soon cause high inflation.
Obama's Justice Department caused the deaths of more Americans when they gave guns to Mexican drug lords in the "Fast and Furious" fiasco. They have yet to turn over the information Congress has asked for to get to the bottom of this scandal.
I could go on all night.
The economy will never recover under Barack Obama as a matter of ideology.
The American spirit is found no where in Obama's words or actions.
If you still chose to vote for him after the over whelming evidence of his inability to lead our natio , im at a loss.
If you understand the stakes, then you MUST vote. Take every person you can to the polls. Call your family, friends, neighbors.....every one. We will win or lose on the strength of our turnout.

Saturday morning surprise
So, yeah, i met Tagg Romney and Ben Romney this morning. They are exactly as cool, classy, and down to Earth as you would expect.
I can spot a phony a mile away and was curious to see if the Romney family had engaged the auto pilot, just going through the motions after a long campaign. I am happy to say, nope. They were gracious and sincere, not to mention about as super duper non phony as a person can be. They looked me in the eye with a hopeful trust for someone they are appreciative of, and count on to help them battle for their country.
Having shook the hands of two men whose father wants my vote, I can honestly say I am prouder now, more than ever, to cast that vote.
If America is smart enough to trust the Romneys with the White House, we will be in the best of hands. We may not agree with everything he does, but I can promise you Mitt Romney will make every decision with the American people in mind.
Lets be honest, i was going to vote for Mitt Romney regardless of what happened today, but now i cannot wait to get to the polls. I would crawl across broken glass to pull that lever (well, color in the circle...thats how we do it in State College), you know what i mean.
The choice between Barack Obama's petty politics, divisive language, failed policies, and angry rhetoric (vote for revenge, really? How sad you have become Mr. President), and Mitt Romney's unleashing Americans by getting the government off our backs, giving our military heroes everything they need, and turning towards freedom, is an easy one.
America is can be better than the declining, underachieving, low expectations, former leader among nations, Barack Obama has made it in the last 4 years.
Mitt Romney is the only road to recovery for our country, I hope my fellow citizens understand the stakes of this election.
All thats left is to vote.....vote.....vote.....go vote....and take a friend.
Lets stick it to Obama and turn Pennsylvania Romney red on election night.

A Message to Voters
Less than two weeks....are you ready? You have every one you know prepared to vote? Mitt Romney will need every single one of us to show up with a friend or family member to cancel out the voter fraud we know exists.
This is the election of our lifetimes, the election that decides the type of country we have to leave to our children. A capitalist America, where anything is possible, or Obama's government controlled ever lasting recession where your freedom is forfeited for free condoms or whatever crumb the politicians toss the peons.
The idea of America is at stake.

The state of the race
Mitt Romney is winning.....
I havent wanted to jinx things in the last week, but i feel ok saying it today. We have had enough polling showing Romney gaining/passing/catching/ and solidifying leads to know the race is going in the right direction as of ...Friday October 19th.
If the election was today, i think we win in a squeaker, but i dont like squeakers against the Democrat party. We have to win by a fraud proof margin and we arent there yet. Keep talking to friends and neighbors, we have to get out every single voter possible.
Obama could easily still win this election, folks. We cannot take our foot off the accelerator until Wednesday November 7th.
We have the arguments, the facts, and momentum on our side, but anything can happen in 18 days. 18 days ago, Obama looked like he was coasting to victory, so keep spreading the word....
Yep....thats about right....

Debate #2
Alright, im going through the transcript from last nights Presidential debate and all i can say is.....
Obama has no conscience. The man lied right to our faces in so many blatant, offensive ways im having trouble finding an exchange that didnt contain at least one dishonest claim from the President.
Their exchange on oil company leases on public lands is a good example. Mitt Romney stated correct fact after correct fact while Obama stood there and said "thats not true". Then Obama went on and spewed some irrelevant talking points, and when questioned by Romney, went on to lie about what we just saw for the last 4 years.
Also, Obama's statement that the only reason gasoline was under $2/gallon, 4 years ago, was because of the recession, is so moronic, ignorant, and dishonest, it made me want to scream. You realize, that would mean that if the economy improves, gas prices would double again to about $8/gallon....just plain stupid.
After reading the debate, its clear that Romney won. Now if you are an idiot that thinks that Obama told some semblance of truth last night, you might call it a draw, but anyone who says Obama won, went into it with that decided before hand. I can not find one good policy point made by the President. He had a few class warfare "zingers" but nothing that would earn a vote from an undecided voter. (How could you still be undecided, though.....seriously?)
Other issues....
The questions SUCK-ED. That were 4th grade slop that played to the lowest of low information voters who rely on emotion rather than facts. Most played to Obama's strengths, come on, there was a question to Romney about him being like Bush.
The moderator was a disgrace. She interrupted Romney every time he was scoring blows to Obamas tender regions, the she turned the whole debate upside down when she KILLED Romney's momentum by cutting him off to defend Obama.....and she was absolutely wrong. Obama lied, the moderator defended the lie, and the momentum instantly went to Obama. It was nice of her to admit it afterwards on CNN but about 1/198738th the people were watching....
It was sickening to watch another debate in which the moderator was decidedly NOT neutral. Lets face it the Republican party is incompetent as a political machine. They let this format and this moderator happen....and they let something like it happen every 4 years. Im tired of it....Democrats play to win, Republicans play to be liked by Democrats.....not all GOPers of course, just the Washington insider types that run these sorts of things...
Anyway, one more debate...on foreign policy....does it matter? Who doesnt know this President is a disaster? A smaller and smaller number of drones who will never vote anything but Democrat....
Lets just get to the voting and get this nightmare/moment of utter joy, over with.....i wont sleep well until i know Obama is looking for a mover....that better not be 4 years away or i will get VERY cranky.

So the Obama media is going giddy today with an unexpected jobs report that has the unemployment rate down to 7.8%.
Would you like the wonky economist explanation for why the drop, not only make no sense, but how the numbers dont add up? I didnt think so, but ill link it again just in case....Some other stories-

A number of pundits predicted months ago that the unemployment rate would somehow get below 8% before the election. I put nothing past this corrupt administration who runs the country like it ran Chicago.
It encourages others to break the law when it helps them, and then offers your tax dollars to help pay off the victims. Oh, yeah, thats a thing and its happening at Lockheed Martin.
Heritage notes Obama's hypocrisy on this exact law.
Its the low information voters (ie doofae) that Obama must count on, which is sad. If he wins it will be because he got more ignorant fools to vote than we got informed people, something this President will be proud of, right?. All we can do is educate as many of our friends and neighbors as possible.

I made the point that Obama got trounced in the debate because he had never had to face a serious opponent and the media never held him to any standard. It seems im not alone in that thinking. The Wall Street Journal has an excellent article expanding on my thoughts, but written by a pro.

Keepin' the Mo'
Now that the debate score is officially in the books as straight up KO for Mitt Romney, the internet is having its fun. I cant say im not enjoying it.
I know its just one debate, i know the election is far from over, but you know what, im going to enjoy this moment of campaign zen as long as possible.
It helps that Obama is out there today saying dumber stuff than last night....seriously, you can tell he is FUMING under that ugly smirk. Today's Obama big campaign line...."who was that guy last night...it sure wasnt Mitt Romney...HAR HAR HAR" Yep, genius.
You know why Obama spends so much time attacking Mitt Romney's character, because he has NOTHING else. Every policy argument he has made is a lie and I can prove it, and when i say "I" i mean we and when i say "we", i mean the smart people at Investor's Business Daily.
Meanwhile, Democratic policies are causing gas shortages in California, those are the same policies Obama wants to bring to the rest of the country, by the way.
Lets see what our Asian corespondent have to say on the debate....
The quote of the day goes to a refreshingly honest....dumb as a bag of potato hammers...but at least this one time, honest...Joe Biden.
Im actually starting to feel better about this election....not good, but better....

It seems that Barack Obama doesnt understand his own healthcare law.....its not that i blame him, no one does, but if you are going to attempt to defend it, you should prolly use legal examples.
Last night Obama sited the Cleveland Clinic as a model for a successful hospital in Obamacare....the problem, its illegal under the new health care law.
So typical of liberal policy. Write a giant, government empowering, monstrosity of a law without knowing the unintended consequences. It does much more damage than good,....then, say you need another law to fix it....lather, rinse, repeat.
There you have it, President Obama's chosen example of success is now illegal because of his law.
That makes sense.
How many more success stories can Obama make illegal if we give him 4 more years?

1979 turns to 1980....if we let it
The last few months have had the eerie aroma of the late 70's. Out of control gasoline and energy prices, embassy attacks in the Middle East, stagnant economy, American weakness, just an overall pessimism hanging like a dark cloud over the country. Is it a coincidence that both times we were under the rule of a far left wing President who was elected on personality and a backlash against the GOP?
Anyhoo, last night we saw 1980 standing at the door and begging to come in.
Mitt Romney beat Barack Obama like a rented mule in the debate yesterday. Democrats and left wing pundits are throwing every excuse possible at the wall, hoping something lessens the sting. Even nutjobs like Michael Moore and Bill Maher admit it was a brutal defeat for Barack Obama.
Romney won because he espoused conservative ideas. He did it with passion, full command of the facts, and an obvious confidence that comes with a belief in what you are saying. Obama was the complete opposite. He seemed to not know what to say, not because he had crickets chirping in his head but because he is fully aware that his true beliefs are unacceptable to the American voter. When the President speaks from his heart we get the angry divisive language seen in that video released on Tuesday.
Also, Barack Obama is famously thin skinned and quick to run from opposing ideas so he has surrounded himself with "yes" men. You add the sycophantic press and this is a man who hasnt had to seriously defend a thought in 4 years....really, much longer. Last night must have been like the first time you get punched in the face....
Its like..."BLAM"....what a minute....ow....that sucked....um....yeah,that was the worst thing ever....(at least until you get a kidney stone, just fyi)
Its a shock to the system and your reaction is left to instincts. Obama's instincts are to run from confrontation so he was left uncomfortable and taken aback by the challenge. Not the instincts i want in a President.

Romney won because he espoused conservative ideas. He did it with passion, full command of the facts, and an obvious confidence that comes with a belief in what you are saying. Obama was the complete opposite. He seemed to not know what to say, not because he had crickets chirping in his head but because he is fully aware that his true beliefs are unacceptable to the American voter. When the President speaks from his heart we get the angry divisive language seen in that video released on Tuesday.
Also, Barack Obama is famously thin skinned and quick to run from opposing ideas so he has surrounded himself with "yes" men. You add the sycophantic press and this is a man who hasnt had to seriously defend a thought in 4 years....really, much longer. Last night must have been like the first time you get punched in the face....
Its like..."BLAM"....what a minute....ow....that sucked....um....yeah,that was the worst thing ever....(at least until you get a kidney stone, just fyi)
Its a shock to the system and your reaction is left to instincts. Obama's instincts are to run from confrontation so he was left uncomfortable and taken aback by the challenge. Not the instincts i want in a President.
Have you seen any video of the best moments yet? Its hard to choose a fav, but i like this one because it sums up Barack Obamas entire political existence.....
If you missed the debate, i strongly suggest you check it out. It was a true measure of the men running for most powerful job in the world. You can watch it and lots of other reaction clips over at The Right Scoop.
So, we got a glimpse of our possible future....a Reaganesque, 1980 future....will we choose it or will we continue this downward spiral deeper into 1979. The debate made it clear who can turn this country around and it aint the current President....will we let Mitt Romney do what he does best?

Down goes Obama.....Down goes Obama....
One debate, one thorough intellectual beating given to the President by Mitt Romney.
I cant begin to imagine what the media will do to take the sting out of that drubbing, but know this, if you watched the debate, you saw a man, in Mitt Romney, who was in command of details, was intellectually interested, was Presidential, and looked like the guy you want running your country. On the other hand, President Obama looked unqualified, intellectually lost, dishonest, and petty. A guy i dont want anywhere near leadership of my country.
Will the story be told that way to those who didnt watch? We will see.
Ill have much more on the minutiae tomorrow, but i just wanted to pass along my glee. Watching someone take Obama to the woodshed does wonders for stress....

Obama destroying middle and lower classes
One word-- ENERGY
If i could scoop out one set of policies this disaster of a President has enacted and replace them with my own, it would be in the field of energy.
BILLIONS wasted in green energy scams and failed companies, and subsidized pet projects.
Yet....those of us without a hand in the federal treasury are stuck paying staggering prices for gasoline, home heating oil, and electricity.
WHY? Because thats how Obama wants it. He thinks we should have to pay prices closer to the failing economies in Europe.........cause its more "fair" and because he is just dumb enough to believe the environmentalists wackos fake science.
In the 2008 campaign he said, and i quote--
"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times,"
He claimed it was about leadership yet he chooses to keep his thermostat hang around 80 in the White House.
The point is, energy prices are one of the biggest factors in middle and lower classes improving their situation and Obama has done everything in his power to raise prices.
His war on coal alone is zapping the supply of electricity available in America leading to necessarily higher prices.
So dont give me this crap that Obama cares about the poor and middle class. In one of the only ways the President can directly effect the economy, Obama has chosen his radical leftist ideology over making life better for average Americans.
This alone proves Obama cares nothing about you, no matter your class. Its all bunk.
Obama sells the "i care", snake oil. His first term proves that. Imagine what he will do once he doesnt have an election to worry about.
Dont forget about higher taxes, too....they're coming....for everyone....
Thats not even counting what Obamacare will do to you on January 1st if its not repealed.
I cant afford 4 more years of Barrack Obama, can you?
PS Dont forget about the extra 10 grand you owe on the national debt this year.

Anyway, just wanted to welcome everyone to debate week. Wednesday night we get to see if Romney has the heart and big brass ones to take it to the President. Romney could end the election with a slam dunk performance....

The new normal is recession...Thanks Obamanomics
You think the economy is bad now? Just wait, if Obama is reelected, we will be hoping to get back to our current doldrums after another recession takes us to new lows.
Obama has ZERO clue how the economy actually works thanks to his brain washing at the hands of ideologue left wing radicals who raised and educated him. He thinks poverty is "fair" as long as everyone suffers together. Its the mind set that has destroyed once great nations like Great Britain, Greece, and well....Europe.
Its not about a safety net for Obama, its about equal out comes no matter your personal effort or merit.
Is that the society you want? We are one election from it.
Remember, the Obama administration said recovery was upon us....
You know how i know the President thinks this is the new normal......Obama has done exactly what to change the economic trajectory of the nation?
He formed a "Jobs Council" for PR and then ignored it....remember?
Its all about making you think he cares, not really caring. If he gets your vote after being a complete failure, it reinforces his mentality of the "no merit" society. He is entitled to be President, you see, you tiny citizens must just accept that.
Performance is irrelevant in an Obama world.
Equal poverty for peons, luxury and immunity for the elite......yummy socialism....

Romney is winning
If he isnt why is the other side resorting to paying people to protest?
Meanwhile, a much larger group of people stood in the rain for free waiting to hear Romney speak.
Remember, Obama is sitting exactly where he was right before the 2010 election when the Republicans won 63 new seats in the House. Another important point that the media seems to ignore.
In other news, the Prime Minister of Great Britain has realized that talking to Obama is worthless and blew him off to play tennis. I cant say i blame him. I would rather chew my toenails than pick up the phone if Obama called me....in fact, id rather chew your toenails than listen to the man blather.
I think world leaders know what i know.....Obama is on his way out.

Obama's priorities
The more i read about the President's intense efforts to avoid doing any work while the world's leaders were in New York, the more i fume. Oh, he stopped by and gave a speech (what else does he do?) that included some frightening quotes, but offered nothing of character, only moral equivalence and the verbose emptiness that all Obama speeches boil down to at this point.
Its a pattern of behavior with this man. Obama is worried about being a celebrity,hanging with Hollywood actors, and golfing, than leading the world or fixing this government. He goes out and gives his little speeches but then goes right back to watching Sportscenter instead of attending his security briefings. Meanwhile our foreign policy is in ruins and our Ambassadors are dying.
When the Middle East starts to tear itself apart, what does Obama say......
The world is begging for leadership and our President is fundraising. The economy is on the edge of a cliff and Obama does nothing but make excuses.....and go to fundraisers.
You know what Mitt Romney is doing today? He is having a meeting about creating jobs with business people and Mike Rowe. When was the last time Obama met with his so called "Job Council"....oh, i know, over 6 months ago. It was a publicity stunt because thats what Obama cares about, publicity.
Im tired of feeling afraid for the future of this country.
Its time for real change.
