When America loses one of its brave soldiers, we sometimes forget that after the moment of silence, or the parade, or the 21 gun salute, there are families that must get up every day and feel the tragedy of that loss again, and again. Mothers and Fathers who must go on having out lived their child, Wives and Husbands who must continue their life without their best friend and partner, Sons and Daughters who will grow up with half their family.
If i was President, any time i spent with those who have lost someone in the defense of our country, would be treated as sacred. My full respect and attention is the least I could offer someone who has given so much to the cause of freedom. I would feel honored to know these Americans and they would know the appreciation of a grateful nation in every way i could possibly express it.
Why the focus on fallen heroes today?
Well, it seems another glaring flaw in Barack Obama and his administration is their treatment of these special families.
Forget the bad economy, or the questionable foreign policy, do you want a President who treats the Father of a lost Navy Seal like he doesnt care? Add to it, the disrespect shown by his highest level representatives, and it sickens me exponentially more than any of his petty campaign lies.
The man i am speaking about is named Charles Woods. His son Tyrone was killed while serving during the terrorist attack in Libya.
This is his story. I hope you read it because it says so much more about the current occupant of the White House than any campaign season, blogger rant, ever could.
America deserves better.

A Message to Voters
Less than two weeks....are you ready? You have every one you know prepared to vote? Mitt Romney will need every single one of us to show up with a friend or family member to cancel out the voter fraud we know exists.
This is the election of our lifetimes, the election that decides the type of country we have to leave to our children. A capitalist America, where anything is possible, or Obama's government controlled ever lasting recession where your freedom is forfeited for free condoms or whatever crumb the politicians toss the peons.
The idea of America is at stake.

The state of the race
Mitt Romney is winning.....
I havent wanted to jinx things in the last week, but i feel ok saying it today. We have had enough polling showing Romney gaining/passing/catching/ and solidifying leads to know the race is going in the right direction as of ...Friday October 19th.
If the election was today, i think we win in a squeaker, but i dont like squeakers against the Democrat party. We have to win by a fraud proof margin and we arent there yet. Keep talking to friends and neighbors, we have to get out every single voter possible.
Obama could easily still win this election, folks. We cannot take our foot off the accelerator until Wednesday November 7th.

Debate #2
Alright, im going through the transcript from last nights Presidential debate and all i can say is.....
Obama has no conscience. The man lied right to our faces in so many blatant, offensive ways im having trouble finding an exchange that didnt contain at least one dishonest claim from the President.
Their exchange on oil company leases on public lands is a good example. Mitt Romney stated correct fact after correct fact while Obama stood there and said "thats not true". Then Obama went on and spewed some irrelevant talking points, and when questioned by Romney, went on to lie about what we just saw for the last 4 years.
Also, Obama's statement that the only reason gasoline was under $2/gallon, 4 years ago, was because of the recession, is so moronic, ignorant, and dishonest, it made me want to scream. You realize, that would mean that if the economy improves, gas prices would double again to about $8/gallon....just plain stupid.
After reading the debate, its clear that Romney won. Now if you are an idiot that thinks that Obama told some semblance of truth last night, you might call it a draw, but anyone who says Obama won, went into it with that decided before hand. I can not find one good policy point made by the President. He had a few class warfare "zingers" but nothing that would earn a vote from an undecided voter. (How could you still be undecided, though.....seriously?)
Other issues....
The questions SUCK-ED. That were 4th grade slop that played to the lowest of low information voters who rely on emotion rather than facts. Most played to Obama's strengths, come on, there was a question to Romney about him being like Bush.
The moderator was a disgrace. She interrupted Romney every time he was scoring blows to Obamas tender regions, the she turned the whole debate upside down when she KILLED Romney's momentum by cutting him off to defend Obama.....and she was absolutely wrong. Obama lied, the moderator defended the lie, and the momentum instantly went to Obama. It was nice of her to admit it afterwards on CNN but about 1/198738th the people were watching....
It was sickening to watch another debate in which the moderator was decidedly NOT neutral. Lets face it the Republican party is incompetent as a political machine. They let this format and this moderator happen....and they let something like it happen every 4 years. Im tired of it....Democrats play to win, Republicans play to be liked by Democrats.....not all GOPers of course, just the Washington insider types that run these sorts of things...
Anyway, one more debate...on foreign policy....does it matter? Who doesnt know this President is a disaster? A smaller and smaller number of drones who will never vote anything but Democrat....
Lets just get to the voting and get this nightmare/moment of utter joy, over with.....i wont sleep well until i know Obama is looking for a mover....that better not be 4 years away or i will get VERY cranky.

Hmmmmm....
Well...the VP debate....happened.
Biden smirked, interrupted, and lied like i thought he might. Paul Ryan was definitely fighting against the moderator as much as the VP but he held his own and looked classy doing it.
The moderator was HORRIBLE. The questions were disgraceful. The GOP deserves a punch in the face for agreeing to let her in the building let alone moderate. She interrupted Ryan and argued for Biden at times, and never had control of what was going on.
Paul Ryan had every thing against him tonight and he did fine....yeah, fine....i know, not as exciting as last Wednesday, but thats all we needed from him. He ended very strong, but got pulled into the mud of Biden's constant idiocy and never found his rhythm.
If you are an Obama voter you probably liked Biden's moronic behavior, weird mugging for the camera, and heavy breathing, but then again you are an Obama voter. It was creepy and ugly....but after last week, the drones will take anything that isnt a resounding defeat.
On to next week's Romney vs Obama II.
One last thing for tonight. I want you to read a story. The end result of the policies that Barack Obama and Joe Biden are putting in place is poverty, and maybe worse even, is the breaking down of our will to be.....be better, be smarter, be richer, be happier, be individuals, be ourselves, be...alive....
When the government claims you have a "right" to other people's stuff, they just mean it has a right to your stuff....and you have a right to only what the government gives you....which ends up being....a small brown bowl...which you must return.....read the story....you'll understand....

I have had a thousand thoughts about tonight's debate between Paul Ryan and Vice President Joe Biden. On paper the match up screams Ryan wins, but Joe Biden has been in politics almost as long as Ryan has been alive, and the VP has been known to go to a bag of ugly, dirty tricks when need be.
Biden famously destroyed good men in Senate confirmation hearings just for petty partisan points and the camera. The story of Judge Bill Clark is an example of how low Joe is willing to go. Now, with his campaign backed against a wall, what wouldnt he do in order to make Ryan look bad?
I found myself on the Ace of Spades blog expressing my anxiety about tonight.
My expectations are flying around the room like a spooked parakeet. I almost dont want to watch the debate, but i will, with one hand over my eyes like its a horror movie....
Hopefully it is one....another one.....like last Wednesday.

Its hard to refute imaginary data and without a conscience to stop himself, Crazy Joe is capable of saying anything.After his debate with Sarah Palin, half of what he had said was found to be completely false, but during the debate it was difficult to call him on it.SO- in the heat of battle, he could make Ryan look flustered or inexperienced by throwing random made up information at him and no matter how much fact checking is done afterwards, it wont change the perception of how the things went during the debate.Biden is a wild card....anything could happen tonight.Then again, and no offense to Palin, but if she could hang with Biden, Ryan should have no problems tearing him a new butt hole.Ryan showed he can hang with the big boys at that health care forum with the President.My brain says Paul Ryan in a rout, my gut says be wary of Biden.....

Libya-gate
The lies, the cover up, the complete disrespect for the American people....yes i am talking about the terrorist attacks in Libya, but i could just as easily be talking about the entire 4 years of the Obama administration.
The administration now admits the death of our Ambassador in Libya was the result of a planned terrorist attack. Al Qaeda picked 9/11 to strike at the US for all the obvious reasons, yet the White House was so ill prepared that we lost our first diplomat to foreign attack in over 30 years. We also lost heroic Marines who ran INTO the fire fight to attempt to save Ambassador Stevens.
Obama and his surrogates LIED....straight to you face for weeks.
It turns out that, not only was the security (or lack there of) in Benghazi insufficient to operating standards, but after multiple warnings of imminent violence, requests for more security and measures to defend against an attack were IGNORED.
The Obama administration has been incompetent, and worse than that, 100% dishonest about the situation throughout the Middle East.
The American media has been awfully silent on the Obama administration's failures in Libya. Did you know that the Obama state department was arming people we knew were linked Al Qaeda.....probably the same people who killed Ambassador Chris Stevens. I had to scour foreign press to learn the truth about the disastrous policies this White House has implemented in Libya.
Obama still hasnt said squat about this debacle. His only comment was to criticize Mitt Romney for not ignoring the event entirely, like him. Romney's comments were Presidential by comparison, and looking back, right on the nose. What is Obama's explaination for this catastrophe? Oh, thats right, he is too busy fundraising and campaigning to fit in a press conference.

Add the utter depths of classless, desperation, the Obama campaign is willing to go, to win, and this race is far from won by the good guys.
Even if we get more individuals to vote for our candidate we could still lose. How? Because the other side are cheating as we speak. Seriously. You want to know why voter ID is necessary?

Democrats have been caught cheating time after time. Its been so rampant in recent elections that the left wing group ACORN has been brought down over it.
In Minnesota, enough felony vote fraud cases exist to prove Al Franken probably lost his Senate election in 2008 and his 60th vote for Obamacare should have never taken place. That vote fraud changed the entire direction of health care in this country.
That single election enough reason to require ID. If you dont believe fraud exists you are a moron and if you think nothing needs to be done, its because you are a Democrat hack who thinks the end justifies the means. Both disqualify you from the realm of people i give a crap about.
Voter intimidation is also ok, if you are a Democrat. The government only comes to your aid if you are a member of the right party in the Obama era.
It is IMPERATIVE that you get every single voter you know to the polls on November 6th. We dont jjust have to win, but win beyond the margin of fraud.

What makes me smile
As a lifelong Yankees fan, their clutch performance, the last week of the season was beautiful to watch. The team is pretty unchanged from the last few years so im used to seeing Jeter, Cano, Swisher, and Sabathia celebrating in the champagne.
There is one new face though that really made me smile.
Ichiro is a certain Hall of Famer who has been trending down for a few years. Some thought he was done as a great player, but he came to New York and turned back into a difference maker. Ive always been an admirer of his ability but watching him spray the bubbly in that Yankees Champion shirt completed my turn into fanboy. I know its doubtful he will be back next year, so i just wanted to take a sec to enjoy this cool moment.
