Clint Eastwood nailed it

I keep getting whiffs of this idea that Clint Eastwood's appearance at the RNC convention was rambling. Some are even trying to suggest Eastwood is a senile old man who had no idea what he was saying.

Not only is that incorrect but i think his performance (and that's exactly what it was) went over the heads of a lot of people.

Eastwood is still sharp as a tack.

Now, the desperate folks on team Obama are, of course, hoping to dull the blow of his words by attacking his credibility....you know, their favorite/only campaign strategy. The media just echoes the White House talking points and continue this false narrative. Eventually people who havent seen the speech, start describing it with those same words.....rambling. senile, etc.

It peeves me when truth is slowly buried under rumor, purposeful lies.....or even misunderstanding. I do believe some on our side didnt get Eastwood's delivery and might possibly be afraid the Democrats are correct in their diagnosis of Clint's mental acuity.

They are all just proving him still a step quicker than the average bear. He knew exactly what he was saying and how he was saying it. The guy is still directing movies and doing press. They dont give you tens of millions of dollars and an A list cast to make films if you are drooling in your mushed peas.

Clint Eastwood knew exactly what he wanted to get across the other night and it was a message for the American people, not the media.

Dont just take my word for it though....here's a much more articulate second opinion.

In a month, the only thing with will remember about the RNC convention is the "empty chair".  That's the genius of a director on his game, my friends.
